The objective of the present study was to identify the enteric parasites and commensals occurring in pregnant women at the University Hospital, Federal University of Uberlândia, State of Minas Gerais.Ī retrospective study was carried out on 503 pregnant women seen at the Normal Prenatal Outpatient Clinic of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics from January to December 1994. ![]() ![]() As part of the routine prenatal examination, on the occasion of the first interview each patient was asked to provide a fecal sample, which was analyzed by the MIFC method for a parasitologic survey. ![]()
